#207 God Uses Hidden Seasons To Refine You

Unseen does not mean unchanged. I’m talking about “development in secret,” that hidden season where God is doing deep work while the people around you can’t track the progress, can’t relate to the shift, and sometimes can’t even access what He’s building. If you’ve been feeling overlooked, misunderstood, or like your growth is happening in the dark, this message is your reminder that diamonds form underground and silver is refined by fire. Psalm 66:10 puts language to it: God proves us and tries us as silver is tried, and that process is meant to strengthen, not destroy.

I also walk through alignment, trust, and obedience, because you don’t always know what’s on the other side of your “yes” until you step through the door. Hello, hello, and welcome back. God's Diamonds in the Rough. I am so glad to be before you one more time. I know it's been a while since I did a live recording. Hallelujah. But I wanted to come to you with some fresh news, some fresh updates on this month as we are starting halfway through the year already. Hallelujah. So, you know, before we go any further, we're going to do it like this. Amen. So let's pray. Father, thank you so much for this day. Thank you so much for life in itself. And we just pray in the name of Jesus that you will have your way here. God, use me to your glory, God, that your way will, your way and your will will be done. God, we thank you so much. If we turn this time over to you, that you have your way in it once again. We pray it, we ask it. In Jesus Christ's name, we do pray. Amen. Amen and amen. Hallelujah. Opening Prayer And Surrender

I've been running, learning to live in truth the last couple of episodes. Let me just be honest and be clear. Like, you know, we are in refinement. And the beauty of refinement is that God will teach you. Hallelujah. And He will show us what He desires for us that's beyond us. Yeah, I hope that that makes sense. Let me play some other music in the background. And so what I want us to do, and what I what I came here to share with you, is that, and this is really the theme of this entire month. It is development in secret. Like at the end of the day, in this process, a whole lot of people are not gonna see what we want them to see. They're not gonna understand or be able to even relate to what is happening to us in this season. And so I've I personally I've already been experiencing that of like it's been a very sacred thing in regard to this process that God is um taking me through. Hallelujah. And so you know,

Refinement And The Hidden Season

and when I say that, I mean like in the in the funniest ways, like, and I'm gonna share with you what I'm gonna be doing from this from here on out. And and I believe that I feel the spirit leading me to make sure that I'm here at least once a month, the first Friday of each month, like where you can see me, you can hear me, all of those things. Um, just simply because I want you, I want you to know like like at the end of the day, I'm here. But God is taking me in another direction, not another direction, but he's simplifying the complex for me. What do I mean? There's a lot of things that God has called me to do, and the simplicity part of it is why you've heard learning to live in truth in the facet that you have. It's it's it's the word that I'm looking for. I think it's uh I'm doing a lot, but once it gets to the way to the place that God wants it, it won't seem like a lot. Multi-person, intellectual property, this is what this is. Me talking to you, this is what's from my heart and my mind, it's my property, hallelujah! And rather than repeating the process over and over again, four, five, six times a day, I can do it one time, two times, and use it in a multiple multitude of things. Look, as a diamond, you have to learn. Look, it's some it's some things that God has to bring clarity to for you. It's a part of this development and secret. Everybody can't be a part of what God is doing in your life right now. Hallelujah. I know they want to be, but they can't be. Hallelujah. In these dark, deep, deep places, those are the places where for diamonds they go unseen. Hallelujah. The diamond is within cracks and crevices

The Diamond Metaphor For Growth

of what was once extremely hot, and once it gets cool, it settles. And so you have people who hunt for diamonds and they gotta dig into the earth to be able to find the rarest of diamonds. Do you understand that you are a rare diamond? And because of your rarity, and because it's so rare, that diamond is so much more valuable. So do not dismiss the process of development. Hallelujah. That's my point. Don't dismiss this process of development. I'm not dismissing this process of development. God is weeding out things I don't need. Hallelujah. He's gonna do the same for you, he's gonna weed out things that are happening in your life that you don't need, they're not profiting in you. Hallelujah. Amen. And as you grow in him, the more you allow him access and control of you and where you go. See, I for myself, I myself, I've had to learn through what I call hard times. But, you know, when I look at it in hindsight, these were disciplines that God was teaching me, teaching me disciplines, and you know, me practicing excellence and being consistent and you know, keeping my word, and you know, they were developing all of those things. Amen. Look, I'll use I'll use discipline for one. Like in the realm of discipline, like at the end of the day, I'm gonna show up. I'm gonna show up if I wear, even if I wear myself out, I'm gonna show up. But here's the thing: God doesn't want us to be worn up, worn out to show up. Hallelujah. He wants us to show up vibrant and full of life. He doesn't want us, want us worn out, tore down, and beat up. Hallelujah. He wants us there, he wants us present, he wants us vibrant, he wants us full, full of faith, full of hope. You how are you gonna do that if you if you if you're trying to serve the world, and you're trying to take care of everybody else and everything else but you, hallelujah. This is that process of development in secret, hallelujah. So, you know, going forward, this this is this this is the order, this is what I hear God saying. You make sure you show your face to your people, hallelujah, at least once a month. Amen. Outside of the intellectual property, which is learning to live in truth. Yes, you record it. Discipline Without Burning Out

So again, intellectual product. I want to make this thing make sense as to what is happening, hallelujah, because I am not by far abandoning this process, amen. I this process that we are walking through is made, being made with simplicity, hallelujah, amen. So we got that live, and then I got morning motivation. That's something that I'm doing on my page on Facebook, Catherine Brown, hallelujah. That's at 7 a.m. Eastern Standard Time for 15 to 20 minutes. But here's the beauty about it: those things that I'm doing live on Facebook, God has given us the internet to be able to download things. So I am downloading these episodes, putting my putting them all in one place, my YouTube channel. Hallelujah. The YouTube channel is God's Diamond Network. Simplifying The Work With Reuse

Hallelujah. Amen. Even something as simple as getting rid of a cost, getting rid of one host, hosting, and moving to another. That's refinement. Hallelujah. Because refinement is about pluming the way. Amen. It's about getting rid of what's not helping us, what's not what's what's what's holding us back, what's hindering us, what's costing us something. It's about getting rid of all of those things and looking at it and saying, hmm, that was that wasn't benefiting me. And holding on to what? That silver, the gold, the diamond, amen. The thing that's valuable. Hallelujah. Amen. That's what you want to get to. Amen. That is what you want to get to. You want to get to the place where you're moving with God and not against God. Hallelujah. And when I say with God, I'm talking about alignment. Amen. We want to be staying in alignment with God all the way through. Amen. We don't want to be going back and forth. We don't want to be God telling you go this way, and you going to the to the to the left or to the right, whatever have you. Don't do that. Follow the spirit. Just trust it. Amen. And you know, I was hesitant about doing it this way. But alignment, alignment, alignment. He will make it make sense. Just trust his steps. Hallelujah. Go with him wherever he takes you. Just go with him. I promise you, when you take the step of faith into destinations, you don't know what it looks like because you've never been there. When you get in the door, you're able to look. You're like, whoa. Wow. And you're looking around, oh, what's over here? Oh man, what's over there? Oh, I want to go see this. Oh, I want to go see that over there. Like you don't know what is on the other side of your obedience. Hallelujah. Again, I have to say it again is a part of that development. Amen. That willingness just talked about it. Because it just recently got off of a line talking about willingness and obedience. Oh my goodness. Like at the end of the day, if you be willing, you will eat the good of the land. Hallelujah. Just be willing to do what God tells you to do. Oh my goodness, it changes the game. Hallelujah. Amen.

Moving Everything To YouTube

Look, I, you know, I started off giving titles for the month and all of that good stuff. Amen. I'm not gonna do that to this. This month, just well, I will give you the focus. The focus is hiding, hiddenness. The focus is hiddenness. I mean, the theme is hiddenness, it's what it looks like to feel like you've been you've you have been hidden. It's focusing on developing in this in secret. Development in secret. And then the anchor scripture is Psalm 66, verse 10. And while we're here, I'll gonna read that. Psalm 66, verse 10. It says, It says, For thou, O God, hast proved us, thou hast tried us as silver is tried. Don't dismiss the process, is all I'm saying. All of this, all of these things that you're you're witnessing and watching me transition and go from you. You you're like, what in the world is this lady doing? She was doing this, now she's doing that. Like I am in the midst of refinement, just as you are. Amen. People are gonna be looking at you like, what in the world is going on? I'm here to tell you, follow the process, follow it through. When you get into alignment with the Lord, he will not steer you wrong. Hallelujah. You got to know he will not steal, steer you wrong, and when you go into it with that mindset, it says you trust him. Hallelujah. It says that you trust him. That's what it says to him. She really does trust me. Hallelujah. I can give her more because when I give her more, she's gonna look to me to help her to be able to take care and manage the more. Hallelujah. Amen. Because she ain't never been there, but she trusts me. Do you trust him? Hallelujah. Do you trust what he's been put on the inside? Do you trust the things that he has given you to learn? Amen. Do you trust uh his word to be true? Is his word your standard? Like I pose all of these questions because at the end of the day, what he has put on the inside of you is going to be tried and tested. No doubt about it. It is going to be tried and tested. Hallelujah. And it's but it's not meant to destroy you, it's not meant to destroy you, it is meant to build you. Not just meant to build you, but strengthen you. So, no, you won't be who you were. You're gonna be a better version of yourself, hallelujah. You're gonna love you more than all of the other stuff that's in this world. You're gonna love you more because at the end of the day, when it's all over and it's said and done with, everything is left here. And you go before him. Hallelujah. Amen. So you don't have to find

Refinement Means Cutting What Costs

yourself, you know, trying to prove yourself and make sure that you got everything, this, that, and the other right and all of that. No, you need to make sure that you're you are validated in the sight of God, hallelujah! Amen. That's a heavy word, ain't it? That's a hot biscuit for man. Hallelujah. Amen. He is our validation. Amen. Don't worry about what they think. Hallelujah. Because if God is using you in their life, they're gonna be glad that you're going through whatever you're going through. They're gonna be glad that you're stronger than you were yesterday, they're gonna be glad that you are not who you used to be. Amen. Paul said, uh, he said it's he said it was for your benefit that he kept me here rather than taking me with him. Because either way, Paul said, either way, whether I go home to be with him or I stay here to serve you, he says it's a good thing. Hallelujah. Amen. It's a good thing, amen. Hallelujah. God is gonna put some people in your path that you're gonna be able to help. The better version of you is gonna be able to help them. Amen. You gotta be willing to go through the process. I can't say it enough. You gotta be willing to go through the process, and so with all of that being said, I can tell you, you can look forward to the next after this month, the next three episodes to be rooted and grounded around this same concept of development and secret. Now, the episodes might be out of order, but that's okay. Don't pay no attention to dates. If you hear me say June, July, whatever. None of that matters. It's the content. Hallelujah. It is the content that you're hearing. I want you to catch how it relates to you developing when nobody can see you, when you developing in secret.

Alignment Trust And Obedience

That that's all that matters. In the next three weeks, that's what I want you to catch in each episode of God's Diamond and the Rough podcast. That is what I want you to catch. Okay? I hope that that is clear and plain. Hallelujah. Keep this verse in mind. Go to it from time to time to remind yourself. Hey, I'm being tried just like silver. Hallelujah. I'm being tried. There's a hiddenness going on in my life, but it's on purpose for a purpose. Hallelujah. Keep it in mind. This is a short, this is a very short message today. And it's just simply because I want you to be clear, I want you to have an understanding of what is happening. Because it's not my intent to shift back and forth, but and do this, do that, but I'm following the Lord. Amen. And at the end of the day, again, I say, when following the Lord, sometimes it don't make sense in the beginning. But when you look at it from hindsight, you say, oh, okay, that makes sense. Hallelujah. Trust me, he knows what he's doing. Amen. So just as always, episodes will be up at 3 a.m. for you to listen to. Um, but again. As I said, it will be episodes from Learning to Live in Truth. The next, not this week, because I want you to get a get a hold on with how we're proceeding for the next until the year is out. Then I'm going to have an encouraging word because, again, intellectual property. I do an encouraging word on Sunday mornings. Whether I preach or not, I do an encouraging word. And so we've started recording that. And so I've started taking and putting that on my God's Diamond Network YouTube channel. So, and then I'm getting ready to start a masterclass, a framework masterclass. And basically what that's going to look like and what it's for is so that people can get one idea and get this, get, get some steps to achieving it, basically. Now, the thing that I have not decided is whether or not it will be live or something pre-recorded. Because we'll have the podcast as well. So that'll be five different things on my channel happening. Excuse me, my light just went out. That's okay. But I hope, my hope is that I can do it. I'd rather do it live. I don't know if I am or not, but I would rather do it live. I can't say for sure. But I hope that you'll be there. I do. I want to see this really, really help people. I do. I want, and as you know that God wants people to see the diamond that is within them. He put it there. But here's the thing: you cannot access it, you

Hiddenness Psalm 66:10 And Validation

cannot access it without Him. Amen. Hallelujah. You can access it without me, but you cannot access it without Jesus. Hallelujah, because He is the diamond. Hallelujah. He is the diamond. Amen. And because He is the diamond, this is where you find your completeness. Hallelujah. He doesn't desire for you to walk around this earth aimlessly. He desires for us to walk with vibrance, with faithfulness. He did not give us a mind of fear. So he's given us a mind of faith. Hallelujah. He wants us to trust him with everything. Because he says that the world was framed by the word of God. Hallelujah. Amen. He wants us to not get confident in stuff, confident in people. He wants us to be confident in him. And if we can see him in us, then we can stand on solid ground. Hallelujah. Just as he built up Peter, he built up Paul. Gave him a new name, Paul. He built up men and women in the Bible throughout the Bible. He built them up from nothing. He showed them that with him they are valuable. Hallelujah. The beauty is that again, you cannot do it without him. And I pray that you will stay on this journey with me. So I intend on being back just like I am today, on the first Friday in August. I don't know what the date is. But the first Friday in August, I intend on being here in the same fashion. I got fireworks behind because of coming up on July the 4th here in the United States. I don't know how it's celebrated in other countries, but we do the cookouts and all of those things, celebrating our freedom. Hallelujah. But I hope that you're able to glean from this.
