Hello and welcome back to Learning to Live in Truth. Learning to Live in Truth, y'all, this is the last day here at God's Diamonds In the rough amen. I am Catherine and I am so grateful for the time that I have had building this network here through our site. We've had some transitions over the past couple of years. This is our final episode here. As I said, you can actually go to Spotify. Let me Spotify Spotify. Wherever you listen to podcasts, you'll be able to hear God's Diamonds in the Rock, learning, living True, all the interviews, everything that God has ever given Michael and I to do here. You'll still be able to access it wherever you listen to, wherever you listen to podcasts. But as far as new episodes, you won't see new episodes unless you go to YouTube. Yes, youtube, and you can go to wwwyoutubecom backslash. God's Diamond Network. God's Diamond Network. Okay, why did I choose that network? Okay, uh, that. Why did I choose that? I chose that? Uh, just simply because we want to create an umbrella for different things that we are doing, and so learning to live in truth is under that umbrella. God's diamond network? Yes, and we're gonna see where god takes us as we go further and dive deeper. We are going to be going live on YouTube Monday and Thursday. To start Monday and Thursday at 7.30. 7.30. Monday and Thursday, we're going to be going live Wherever God takes us when we go live is where we will go.
Speaker 1:I'm not exactly sure how to do this. I know what I did on Facebook Live and my community absolutely loved it. It just became a lot for me, uh, trying to do it every day, um, but it was very good and I enjoyed it a lot, so I'm not going to cancel out doing it every day. I just know that I have to get back to it, yeah, to the lives, so I can engage with the community. Um, what I'm going to be doing in between, on Tuesday, wednesday and Friday, I'm not exactly sure yet If I will just put up content and we discuss, you know, or we have an open conversation on Monday and then we give the word that attaches to what we talked about on Monday and Tuesday, on Tuesday and Wednesday and what we talk about on Thursday. A word through the word of God on Friday that is attached to that. That's the only thing that I can hear right now, but again, I'm not absolutely sure, but will be here monday and thursday on youtube at god's diamond network, 7 30 pm eastern time.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, now we got all of that out of the way, and today we're going to jump right back into genesis and we're going to pick up at the 11th chapter. Yes, we'll see where the Lord takes us. I'm probably going to do it by subject. That's what I'm picking up in spirit. And when I say by subject, whatever the topic is in the scripture, as we're going along in whatever book we're in, we'll pick up there. Okay, so now we're getting ready to get into different languages. Let's pray. Yeah, let's pray.
Speaker 1:Father, we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us to stay in this time, to be able to get into your word. Pray, god, that you will use your humble servant as you will Use me to your glory. Father, I pray God as your vessel. Fill me up, lord, with your word, with your spirit, god, as I continue to go forth in what you've called me to do. Pray for everyone that is here. Everyone will watch and listen. Pray, god. The blessings of the Lord be upon them. I pray in the name of Jesus, that all is said and done is pleasing in your sight. Pray for the one that said pray for me. We also pray for the one that says woe to me. Come on somebody. Hallelujah. You are the great I am and I pray that you would just be the I am, that you need them to be. In the name of Jesus, I turn this time over to you, father, that you would have your way In Jesus' first name. I do pray, amen, amen and amen, amen, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:So we pick up here in the 11th chapter of Genesis and it says in chapter 10, we just really went over the descendants of Ham, ham Sheem and Ham Sheem and Japheth yes, these are three sons of Noah after the flood is over. So we got a a idea of some of Noah's grandchildren, great-grands and great-great-grands. Yeah, so that was just a surface view, absolutely not. On the last episode I shared where you can get the biblical genealogy. I'm pretty sure you can get it from Amazon. I think that's where my sister-in-law got it from for me. Yeah, for a birthday gift. So I'm not for sure because I haven't talked to her, him quite a while, but I'm pretty sure that's where you can get it from the biblical genealogy. Yes, and it is a scroll, if my camera was, I think I might have showed it before, but it is there for you to get. Ok, all right, chapter 11.
Speaker 1:That was a synopsis of where we were. This is chapter 11. This is in. The whole earth was of oneopsis of where we were. This is chapter 11. This is the whole earth was of one language and of one speech.
Speaker 1:Uh, and it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plane in the land of shiner and they dwelt there and they said one to another go to, let us make brick and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone and slime had they for mortar. And they said go to, let us build us a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven. Let us make us a name, let us let's, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men built it. And the Lord said behold, the people is one and they have all one language. He says, and this they began to do, and now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us down, let us go down and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth, and they left off to build the city. Therefore, is the name of it called battle? Because the lord did there.
Speaker 1:Okay, so we see here, this is um, different languages are introduced and um, the reason why so many languages? Um, our god is diverse. Yes, very much diverse, um, in language culture, um, different things, absolutely. That's why you know you go to Spain, you speak the predominant language, it's going to be Spanish, but you know you go into, even into countries by themselves. You have, or like in Spain, you got different variations of Spanish and Africa. You got different, um, variations of their type of language. Yeah, and if you are not, if you're not, uh, a citizen in these countries, then you're obviously you're a foreigner and you have to learn the language. Yeah, it's not your dominant and you have to learn the language. Yeah, it's not your dominant language. And obviously he did it on purpose, even in the very beginning. So you got different languages are now established Because God I would say God is diverse.
Speaker 1:He said that everybody understood the language. So obviously it's like well, why would he spread them out like that and give them different languages like that? Because he in himself is diverse, cannot box him down to one thing. Yeah, and that's a big mistake that people make. They box God down into this one idea that they have of who he is. And I just believe that you know, when he created all of these different language, it was just another symbolic way of him saying I am diverse, do not try to box me in, because as soon as you box me in I'm gonna bust out of it. Yeah, I believe that I do, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:Now, going on a little further, verse 10 he says these are the generations of sheen. Sheen was a hundred years old and begat a fax. And two years after the flood, sheen lived after he begat a fax. No, no, not a fax, I'm sorry y'all. Let's see Arphaxid, 500 years, and begat sons and daughters. And Arphaxid lived 530 years and begat Selah. And Arphaxid lived after he begat Selah 403 years and begat sons and daughters. And Selah lived 30 years and begat Eber. And Selah lived after he begat Eber 403 years and begat sons and daughters. Now I don't know if y'all noticed, but if we go back, you go back, you'll find the same history, uh, in verses, in chapter 10, verses 21 through 32, but not quite as deep as we are going. Okay, so you have heard this information before. Okay says verse 16.
Speaker 1:And Eber lived four and thirty years and begat Peleg. And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years and begat sons and daughters. And Peleg lived thirty years and begat sons and daughters. And Pelic lived 30 years and begat Ryu. And Pelic lived after he begat Ryu 209 years and begat sons and daughters. And Ryu lived 230 years and begat Siruk.
Speaker 1:And Ryu lived after he begot Siru 207 years and begot sons and daughters. And Siru lived 30 years and begot Nahor. And Siru Lived after he begot Nahor 200 years and begot sons and daughters. And Nahor lived 9 and 20 years and begot Terah. And Nahor lived after he begot Terah 119 years and begot sons and daughters. And Terah lived 70 years and begot Abram, nahor and Haran. Now these are the generations of Terah.
Speaker 1:Terah begot Abram, nahor and Haran, and Haran begot Lot and Haran died before his father, terah, in the land of his nativity in Ur of the Chaldees, and Abram and Nahor took them wives. The name of Abram's wife was Sarai, in the name of Nahor's wife, melchiah, and let's see the daughter of Haran, the father of Melchiah, and the daughter of heron, the father of milki and the father of iska. And sarah was barren, she had no child and tara took abram, his son, and lot, the son of-in-law his son Abram's wife, and they went forth with them from Ur of the of the Chaldees to go into the land of Canaan and they came into Haran and dwelt there and the days of Haran was 205 years and Tara died in Haran whoo, that was my mouth full. Five years and her terror died in heron. That was my mouthful every time I read it. I'm just like. I hope you didn't get confused.
Speaker 1:So my advice in your own study, make you a tree or, as as I said, get that biblical generational genealogy scroll. If you don't want to do that, get you a big piece of paper, a huge piece of paper, maybe a poster board, and begin to write because and then don't, don't, don't, don't think that it's finished, okay, put it away. So when you get to the names again you can pull it back out and kind of go back to where you were, because obviously we already went through some of the children of Sheen back in chapter 10, verse 21. And he added the Lord allowed us to have a little bit more information in regard to the genealogy. So your poster board, really you should start that back in in the earlier part of genesis and kind of tuck it away. That way you can bring it to completion from the beginning to the end and you can kind of trace back to who is who, because especially when you get into books, like when you get into numbers and you get into Chronicles and Kings and some of the minor prophets and the major prophets, when these people are mentioned you'll know exactly who they are telling you.
Speaker 1:It's mind-blowing, because what you're going to find is you're going to find incest. You're going to find a whole bunch of stuff. That's just like what In the Bible days, these things was going on Yep, they were yeah. Days, these things was going on yep, they were yeah. Um, in my bible class, in my study bible study that I do on wednesdays at my church um, we, actually we are in exodus now and we are finding. We found what? So that's the telltale we've already been through Genesis. And first murder, the first rape, the first incest, the first. What is it? I think the first, when you eat people. Yeah, I mean just all kinds of stuff, and it's just like what? Yeah, sure enough it. It's just like what yeah, sure enough, it's in here, you know.
Speaker 1:So when he says it in Ecclesiastes, solomon said there ain't nothing new that's happening now that hasn't already happened. It's because that's true there ain't nothing that is happening in this earth that ain't already happened. It's in the word of God. So this is why we can call the word of God our manual for life Amen. So that's my time, and I hope that you all will journey with me when I go to YouTube. Amen, and I will often refer to my podcast, this entire podcast, as I'm on YouTube so that you can go back and get some history, and I will most likely link to it different episodes to my YouTube channel so that you can actually get the fullness of the content that is being presented to you. I am so humbled and so glad that I was able to introduce, introduce, introduce, learning to live in truth here on God's Diamonds in the Rough, and I hope that you'll continue to walk with me those who listen on a faithful and daily basis. Ok, amen.
Speaker 1:So let's go ahead and pray. Father, we thank you so much. Thank you, god, for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing me to be here and be a light for you and the kingdom and for your people. I pray that everyone here got what it is they were supposed to get. I pray, god, is to continue to go forth in your name, god, that you would lead god in order, not only my steps, but anyone and everyone that's trying to do something that is going for to produce and be fruitful and reproduce and multiply and, um, bring things into this earth in abundance. Pray, god, that you would touch us with the ideas, with an understanding, wisdom and knowledge to go forth to do it the way you desire us. We love you so much and we're so very grateful, so thankful. In Jesus Christ's name, we do pray. Amen, amen, amen, hallelujah, thank y'all so much. I love you, I love you, I love you y'all.
Speaker 1:Make sure y'all come on back. I'm gonna try to get some episodes up for God's Diamonds in the Rough the last two interviews that will be here, and then these interviews, the same interviews. I'm going to be putting them as well on youtube, so that will fill a day or two. See how the lord uh leads me, uh, on the youtube channel as well. So I'm excited and I hope that you are about where god is taking this ministry here of learning to live in truth and god's diamond network. So y'all make sure y'all come on back. So much love, so many blessings from me to you. Have a great day and a great night. Amen, love you. Y'all, take care you.
