Hello, hello and welcome back to Learning to Live in Truth. We are so glad to be before you one more time. Amen. I hope all is well. I hope you're having a great day on today. Whenever you're listening to this. My name is Catherine, amen. I am your host. Amen, and down to our last two days. Well, this will be the one more day, but we are actually posting on our podcast site, but we have done 100 and to this day will be a hundred and eighty-four. A hundred and eighty-four episodes over the last two years. I am just elated that the Lord will use me in the way that he has.
Speaker 1:In this podcast, I've had the privilege of interviewing numerous people, amen, and we are transitioning over to YouTube and you'll be able to see some of those interviews. So y'all, make sure y'all join me on my channel On God's Diamond Network On YouTube. That will begin Like. That will be my only way that I am producing. I'm in network on YouTube. That will begin Like. That will be my only way that I am producing for the most part, unless the Lord leads me another way, via YouTube. I might put things up here and there on on Facebook, but primarily, my lives will be on YouTube, I know, monday and Thursday. I'm still waiting for the time, waiting for the time, most likely somewhere between seven and eight. So, yeah, y'all, make sure y'all join me on there live, and then I'll be putting up videos in between as well.
Speaker 1:Um, that is what is going on. That is what is happening, yeah, and I am ready to pray, and I hope that you all, we are picking up in the 10th chapter this week. Well, today I like to call it roll call. Roll call because that's primarily what we'll be doing is me you'll hear me trying to say all of these wild names. You heard me, yeah, uh, so let's go ahead and pray. Father, we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us to stay in this time, to be able to get into your word. I pray, in the name of jesus god, that everyone that is here, every heart, every single diamond that is listening God, will be blessed by what they hear, and not just hear, but receive from you. I pray, god, that you would open up our eyes and open up our ears. We might see it, we might hear it, we might understand it, comprehend it so much so that we can apply it. We love you and we thank you. We pray this prayer and all of our prayers in the precious and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Thank you. We pray this prayer and all of our prayers in the precious and matchless name of Jesus Christ. We do pray, amen, amen, hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:So where we left off, as I said, we're going to pick up in chapter 10. There's a curse on Canaan. It's Noah's grandson, simply because he. Because Noah's grandson, simply because he, because he saw his make sure I got it right. Let's see Ham. No, his son, ham, saw his father naked. He kind of like stared at him, like whoa type of thing, and his brothers informed him, inform them of what had happened. And now there's a curse on Canaan. So you have to know that when we read these particular um stories and we hear about certain people, there is a history behind it. Yeah, so Canaan is cursed.
Speaker 1:Now we go Into the 10th chapter. It says verse 1 Now, these are the generations Of the sons of Noah, sheem, ham and Japheth, and unto them were sons Born after the flood, the sons of Japheth, gomer and Magog and Mediah and Javan and Tubal and Meshach and Tyrus, and the sons of Gomer, which is this will be his grandson, or Noah's grandson? Okay, this will be his grandson. Or Noah's grandson, okay, ash, kenis and Raphath and Togarmah and the sons of Javan and Elisha, shea, shea, elisha Ha, elisha and Tarshish, kittum and Dodanim, dodanim, do-da-neem. Okay, y'all gonna crack up. Y'all gonna crack up every time I be trying to say these names. But to God, be the glory and we get it. Hallelujah, and you can too. Amen, syllable by syllable. I love my Bible because it breaks down each word, syllable by syllable, especially these words that are just just like how in the world do you say that? Yeah.
Speaker 1:So verse five uh, he says by these were the isles of gentiles, divided in their lands, everyone after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. So this is important because there were areas and areas and places of separation. And so it says in verse five that this is important because there were areas and areas and places of separation. And so it says in verse five that this is how they were divided. So you had the son Japheth, you had the grandson Gomer, grandson Javan, and then you had then he lets us know. So you got three divisions right there. So he said these are the Isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands by their languages or by their tongues, and so that's just one of many. You know how things are separated and divided off and how you got the tribes and all of these different things. All of that is important in regard to history.
Speaker 1:Okay, now going on forward, verse 6, he says and the sons of Ham, cush, mezriam and Fut and Canaan, and the sons of Cush, sheba and Havilah and Saptah and Ramah and Shabteachah, and the sons of Ramah, sheba and Dedan, and he began to be a mighty one in the earth. Okay, and I'm going to say this again, when we see in the Bible, where you got a bunch of names and then one name is highlighted, that means it is important. Verse 9, he was a mighty hunter before the Lord, wherefore it is said even as Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord. Okay, that's what his name meant, that's what he did and that's what his name meant. That's what he did and that's what his name meant.
Speaker 1:Verse 10 and the beginning of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Atkad and Talnia, and in the land of Shinar. Out of that land went forth Asher and builded Nineveh, and the city were both and Calah and recent between Nivea and Calah, and the same is a great city. And Mazriam begat Ludum and Anamim and Lahabim and Naphtalim, and hath bruised him and cast lew him, out, of whom came philistim and and hath to him, and canaan begat sidon, his firstborn, and he and the jebusite and the Amorite and the Geigite and the Hivite and the Archite and Sinite and the Arvadite and the Zemurite and the Hamathite, and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. Okay, so all of it's important. This is how we got all these different lands, different cities, kingdoms and on and on and on. Okay, it all started with one individual who really began a heritage. As they went forth producing, he told them to be fruitful, multiply. And what was that word? Grow in abundance. That's another word. I can't think of it. I ain't going back, but y'all know what I'm talking about. You're okay Because it's a lot of. And I ain't going back, but y'all know what I'm talking about. Okay, because it's a lot of names. I'm trying to finish, yeah, finish, at least to finish out the chapter. So keep on walking with me. Y'all bear with me, all right, verse 19.
Speaker 1:And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidion, as thou camest, to Gerar, unto Gaza, as thou goest, unto Sodom and Gomorrah and Adma and Zeboam, even unto Lashah. There are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongue, their country, and in their nations, unto sheen, which is his last son, noah's last son, he says, unto shame. Also the father of all the children, of eber, the brother of japheth the elder. Even to him were children born, even to him were children born. So Japheth is oldest, okay, he, and the children of Aram, aram, y'all, uzz and Ho and Ether and Mash and Ar I see Ar Arfaxed and begat Selah and Selah begat Eber.
Speaker 1:Now, to Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Helic, for in his days was the earth divided, and his brother's name was Joktan and Joktan begat Almodad and Sheleth and Hazar, maveth, andla and Obel and Abima'il and Sheba and Ophir and Havilah and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan and their dwelling was from Misha, as thou goest, unto Sefar, a mount of the east. These are the sons of Sheem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. These are the sons of Sheem after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generation in their nations, and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
Speaker 1:Okay, thank you, jesus, I'm so glad I made it through that. Lord, have mercy y? Y'all, but it ain't over. The name of Genesis is filled with a lot of history, a lot of names. It really filled up a family tree, but that's why I'm so very grateful for it.
Speaker 1:My sister-in-law she gave me like a scroll of the history, everything that I'm seeing here. She gave me a scroll that the history of everything that I'm saying here. She gave me a scroll that, for the most part, details all of this. I believe she got it on. Maybe type in scroll of Bible, I guess the many entities, bible, I guess the lineage of these. It's called Biblical Genealogy. So type that in into the search bar on Amazon and I'm sure you can find it there. It's very helpful when you are, you know, trying to do some in-depth teaching and studying. So I hope that y'all got something out of that.
Speaker 1:Even if you just didn't get a laugh out of me trying to pronounce some words, you heard me Hallelujah, so let's go ahead and pray. Father, we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us to be a part of your history. Thank you, god, for taking us back to where it all began and showing us some things that might put some things in perspective for people and be a help to them. I pray that I was a help God. I pray, lord, that you would touch everyone that comes here and that they be blessed by what they hear and what they understand. I pray, god, that you will continue to grow us up, continue to draw us to you as we exalt your name. Father, we love you so much. We're so very grateful and so thankful, god, for who you are, and we also pray for that one that said pray for me, whatever might be going on in their lives, god, that you would give them a peace to pass understanding. Again. We love you and we praise your holy and your righteous name. I pray it and we ask it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We do pray, amen, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:I hope that you all will come on back with me for my last day here where I am, where our. For the time being, we will not no longer be putting anything new on our. On long I'll be putting anything, anything new on um, our um on um, like Spotify and all of that, but our, what we've already done will be archived. In a sense you'll still be able to listen. It just won't be anything fresh coming up. You got to come to YouTube to get the fresh stuff, the new stuff, and so I love y'all, I thank you and I hope you'll come back for one more day here at Learning to Live in Truth on God's Diamonds in the Rough. Amen, so many blessings, so much love from me to you. Y'all have a great day, great night, amen. Amen.
