Unlock the profound lessons of faith and obedience as Pastor Catherine guides us through the timeless tale of Noah. How did one man's unwavering righteousness secure the future of humanity? Discover lesser-known details about Noah's Ark, including the significance of bringing seven pairs of clean animals and just one pair of unclean ones. These insights not only enrich our understanding of this biblical narrative but also challenge us to reflect on our own potential impact on the course of history through faithfulness and adherence to divine guidance.

As we look forward to the 2024 women's conference, we emphasize the power of coming together in spirit and prayer. Even if you can't attend, your prayers are invaluable to the event's success and to the ongoing mission of Exposed Life Change Ministries. Pastor Catherine encourages listeners to lift up those around them and extend blessings to all, fostering a community of love and goodwill. Speaker 1:

Hello, hello, and welcome back to Learning to Live in Truth. We are so glad to be before you one more time. If you don't know who I am, I am Pastor Catherine Amen, passive, exposed Life Change Ministries right in the heart of Madison Heights, virginia. Here I am helping whoever wants it, book by book and verse by verse, through the word of God. I am your help, I am your coach, I am your pastor. Come on somebody. I am somebody to somebody, amen and to here. I am just a willing servant laboring to do what God has called me to do. Hallelujah. I don't call myself the expert, but I do love the Lord and I'm just willing to do what he tells me to do. I hope y'all are ready to get into work. I am, so let's go, let's pray. Father, we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us to stay In this opportunity. God, to get into your word, I pray that you would use me to your glory. I pray for everyone that is here. Every diamond, god, every heart and every ear Would be ready to hear what it is that you have to say. Use me to your glory. God, have your way here. I pray that somebody will draw closer to you because of what they hear. I pray that they be listening for you, god, not for imperfections, not for right or wrong, but listening for your voice, listening for what you have to say. Use us, use me, have your way. In Jesus Christ's name, we do pray, amen, amen, all right, y'all.

Speaker 1:

So we left off chapter uh, going into chapter seven. Uh, we began to talk about the promise, uh, that came in the covenant, um, that was given to Noah. Amen, talking about, really, the promise, really, um, it put inside of a capsule that said you know that the flesh a male and female would preserve the flesh. Uh, the cattle of a male and female would preserve the? Uh, animals that walk four-footed animals, and the fowl would preserve the fowls of the air, and on and on, it was one of each, a male and a female, to keep it alive. Hallelujah, that was the plan of god, he said. Told noah, get all the food that you need for your family, the food that you need for the animals, amen, so that everybody will be taken care of. They will have, uh, the provision that they needed while they was in the midst of a disaster. Really, yeah, amen, they were being blessed, but I'm sure they was watching life just disappear, one after the other. Come on somebody. Hallelujah. So now we come into seven as we begin to see what happened. Yeah, I don't know if you ever read the story before, but here's your opportunity, so I hope you got your bibles up if you're riding along in the car, got your ears open and ready to hear.

Speaker 1:

Verse seven, chapter one no, no. Chapter seven, verse one hallelujah said and the Lord said unto Noah, come thou and all the house into the ark, for thee have I seen righteous before me and this generation. So after he told Noah to build the ship or the ark, he could have very well said Okay, now we can die with everybody else. No, he told Noah that he was preserving life and that he saw the righteousness that was in his heart, and so therefore, that saved not just him, but it saved his entire family and his generation. Amen, suppose he had not been obedient on somebody. Hallelujah. Amen, suppose he had not listened to what God had told him to do. Amen. How many times have God told us to do something and we haven't done it? We could have changed history with our obedience. Amen, because that's what happened with Noah. He changed history because our obedience, amen. Because that's what happened with Noah. He changed history because of obedience, amen. Come on somebody.

Speaker 1:

Verse 2. He said of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female. And of the beast that are not clean by two, yes, the male and his female. And of the beast that are not clean, by two, yes, the male and his female. Now I've read this story quite a bit of time. Most of us know the story right, but I've never caught it. I never caught this. I'm going to read verse 2 again. Listen to it.

Speaker 1:

He said of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee, seven, take to thee by seven. So seven, seven cows male, seven cows female. Seven pigs males, seven pigs female. Okay, so we're getting that math right. He said and the male and his female. And of bees that are not clean, by two. I don't know if you've ever seen that. I've never seen that before until now.

Speaker 1:

So he said Not only Bring the seven Of each animal, he says Bring another one that's not clean About two, the male and his female. So you got Eight. So you got Eight. So you got Altogether. You got Nine. He said seven.

Speaker 1:

So you got seven male Of each mammal, clean, of each animal, and you got two Males of each animal that are unclean. Isn't that interesting? So will say, well, why, come on, let's let spiritual intellect work here. Look, he said, of the fowls, also of the air, by sevens, the male and the female, to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights, and every living substance that I have made will I destroy off the face of the earth. Pause just for a second. So not only do you have the bees, but you got the animals as well, of sevens and then the two that are unclean. Why would you want to preserve the two that are unclean? Well, when we think about this thing logically, if you preserve the two that are unclean, doesn't that make the problem still exist? Yeah, I mean, why would you mix the unclean with the clean?

Speaker 1:

I dare to say one word, and those of you, those that are listening, they are in the flock of ELCM. Y'all know the answer. I know you do, amen. I know you know the answer. But for those of you that don't know one word Choice, choice, choice, choice. It's just the same as in the beginning, when everything was perfect, beginning when everything was perfect, but he put the tree that would allow Adam and Eve to know the difference between good and evil. Why? Why did he do that Choice? That's why Choice, choice, choice.

Speaker 1:

We live in a world where we have believers that take that dynamic out of the picture and say it's supposed to be this and it's supposed to be that, when clearly, in the word of God, he gives us choice. I don't care what is going on, you have a choice. You don't have to choose the way of the righteous, amen. You can choose your own way. This is why he can righteously judge each one one from the other, because we all get the opportunity to make a choice for him. Make a choice for what's right, make a choice for what is pure, making a choice of what is just and what is honest. Come on, somebody. Philippians 4 and 8. Come on, we all get a choice, amen.

Speaker 1:

There's a whole lot of born-again believers that think that they have the right to take your choice away from you and then get mad at the ones who don't take the choice away from them. I'm talking about within the family of God. Come on, talk to me. Amen. You get a choice. Look. He says look.

Speaker 1:

After he talks, he gives us the essence of choice. He says now you're going to get everybody, everything and everybody on the boat, okay. Then he says everybody on the boat, okay. Then he says all on the ark. And then he says in seven days, this is when the rain is gonna start. So you, I can imagine you got animals, you got people banging on the doors of the ark. Let me in, let me in.

Speaker 1:

But look, matter of fact, no, no, let me rewind, rewind. I would imagine they all was laughing at them. Come on now. Y'all all on that, y'all all on the boat. It ain't no water, it ain't never rain.

Speaker 1:

What y'all doing, I bet you they laughed at them, they made fun of them. They did all kinds of things. Look, it's people that's laughing at you, talking about you, you know, gossiping about you. Then you see them doing that. It ain't even never did that. Why are they doing that? They ain't nothing but a bunch of fools.

Speaker 1:

But you know what God told you. Come on somebody. Hallelujah, amen. You know what God told you. Dismiss what they think, dismiss what they say, dismiss whatever mockery they are doing? You see they are doing Before. You see they mocked him. They was trying to make a mockery out of Jesus, didn't they Come on? All the way to the cross, hallelujah? All the way to Calvary. They was mocking him, they was laughing at him. They was spitting on him, they was kicking him. They was doing everything they could to destroy his outward appearance. But Jesus knew he was who he was on the inside, hallelujah. Noah knew who he was on the inside. He knew what the Lord had spoken to him to do. Come on somebody, you gotta do that. Hallelujah Amen.

Speaker 1:

God said seven days, y'all won't be on. Come on somebody, you gotta do that. Hallelujah Amen. God said seven days, y'all will be on this, this ark. Ain't no rain gonna fail. But he says I will cause it to rain upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights. So 40 days and 40 nights, he said it's gonna to rain. It's going to rain like never before and in that period of time it's going to destroy the entire world.

Speaker 1:

Verse 5. And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him. And Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in and his sons and his wife and his sons wives with him into the ark. Because of the waters of the flood, of clean beasts and of beasts that are not clean and of vows and of everything that creepeth upon the earth, there went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the female and the male, as God had commanded Noah, and it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were upon the earth, pausing right there. We're going to stop now, ain't that tight, jesus? Let's pray's pray.

Speaker 1:

Father, we thank you so much for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us yet to get a little bit further in your word. I thank you, god, for revealing something I hadn't seen, never seen. Thank you god for that. It lets us know, father, how important that number seven and that number eight and that number nine, how important it is for you and that we ought to find out. Numbers are important to you. I just pray in the name of Jesus you will continue to do a work in us that only you can. Father, we love you so, very much, so, very grateful, and so thank you. We pray that this prayer and all of our prayers are pleasing in your sight. We pray it in the name of Jesus Christ. We do pray Amen, amen and amen. Hallelujah. Jesus, come on somebody. That was tight, but it was right, wasn't it? Hallelujah, amen.

Speaker 1:

Choice is something. Amen, that is such a precious thing. Amen, hallelujah, hallelujah, amen. He would rather you choose be hot or cold than to be lukewarm. Make a choice today, hallelujah. Make a choice Whom will you serve Jesus? Come on somebody. Y'all pray with me, pray for me, rather, please pray for me, continue to pray for this ministry and all that God is calling me to do in this season. So y'all, make sure y'all come on back as we continue. We got one more day before we switch gears into God's diamonds in the rough and we share two more interviews of two, of two more, whether it be a male and a female, two females, two males. However, god lays it on my heart to do it. We're going to be transitioning to into that for Friday and Saturday. Amen, those of you that are listening and close by, forget about spilling the tea. Amen, if you're in our area, do what you can to get there. Hallelujah, because we are definitely going to let our light shine.

Speaker 1:

2024 women's conference. Amen, it's going to go down. We're going to do it again, amen. We hope that you will come and be a part of it. Amen, if you can't be a part of it, do me one more favor. Pray for it, hallelujah. Pray for it. Pray for me. Pray for the ministry, amen, of exposed life. Change ministries, amen. Pray for ministries. I like pray for ministries. Pray for people, amen, all of us. Pray for your brothers and your sisters. Pray for those who don't know him. They don't know him. They come to know him, amen. Let's pray Hallelujah To God be the glory. So y'all have a blessed day and a blessed night and remember so much love and so many blessings from me to you, amen.
