Amen, and we are always excited and always elated that you would stop and listen to what God is giving me to be able to be a blessing to your spirit. Amen.
Speaker 1:So, without further ado, we're going to go ahead and get into it. So let's go ahead and pray first. Amen. We thank you so much for your grace and your mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us to stay in this time to be able to get into your word. I pray, father, that you would use me to your glory. I pray that all that is said and done will be pleasing in your sight, father. I pray for every diamond here, every heart, god, that they will be resting in you, settling ready to get what you want to get. Lord, we love you so very much. We also pray for the ones that say pray for me, touch in such a way that they even know that it is you. We pray for your supernatural miracle working power Be activated and working in our life as we cancel the assignment of the enemy. Anything that the enemy has set up trying to make us fall, trying to kill, steal, destroy. We cancel it now, in your, in the name of jesus, I pray, god, that you will continue to make us ahead and not the tail. I pray for my brothers and my sisters in christ all around the world and we bless your name as we bless your people. In jesus christ's name, I do pray. Amen, amen, all right, y'all.
Speaker 1:Um, if you did not listen to yesterday's episode, amen, where we started um Genesis three, I want to ask you to stop. Go ahead and listen to that one, and then you come back to this. Amen. Uh, you want to get the fullness? Amen, I'm a I, I myself, I want the fullness. You know you can tell me to go to one verse in the bible, amen, but I'm gonna look at, I'm gonna read the whole chapter. Amen, because I want the fullness. Yeah, come on, somebody get the fullness of what god had to give to you. Hallelujah, amen. And the word is packed, packed, packed with so much truth, so much virtue, so much. I mean because it is the truth. Hallelujah, amen, it will fill your soul, hallelujah. Okay, y'all, three minutes in. I hope y'all are ready. I am ready.
Speaker 1:We picking up at the seventh verse Amen. And we have been talking, or we started yesterday talking, about how man failed Amen, how the serpent played on the weakness of the woman, amen. So verse 7,. He says, and the eyes of them both were open, boom. He says they knew that they were naked and they saw that they were naked and they saw those big leaves together and made themselves papers. So the eyes are open and now they're naked. They see that they're naked and they are ashamed of what they are seeing. Like, oh my gosh, he's naked. Oh my gosh, he got this and he got that. Like, whoa, what in the world you should have on clothes? You heard me, come on somebody. So this is where they are mentally like, wow, this is the same reaction that we have when we see somebody naked.
Speaker 1:Amen, even though the difference between Adam and Eve and us and other folks, we don't know them. They, they knew each other and they still was ashamed. Come on, somebody, jesus, look, he says, and heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden, the voice of God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. So they hid themselves from God, god Almighty, who's everywhere. At the same time, they tried to hide from Him. Isn't it amazing how we try to hide from God in plain sight, we try to hide what we do from him, when he's everywhere. At the same time, he already knows what we done, did Hallelujah. He, in a sense, wants us to own what we've done, for us to be accountable. Look at it, look, verse 9 9.
Speaker 1:He said and the lord god called unto adam and said unto him where art thou? He already knew where he was. Come on, he said. And he said uh, he said I heard thy voice in the garden and I was afraid. All of a sudden they are afraid of the one that they've been so open with and in love with. Now they are afraid, fearfully afraid, said because I was naked and I hid myself, he said. He said who told thee that thou was naked. Who told you that? Come on, who told you that? Like, oh no, amen, they are now. He already know what they did. He's holding them accountable, like what you do and how you know you was naked. He says hast thou eaten of the tree thereof? I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat. He said again accountability. Did you eat off the tree? Don't we ask our kids that, did you do this? Did you do that? We already know that they did. But we ask them anyhow For accountability so they are aware they can acknowledge I have done something wrong. I've done something that you told me not to do.
Speaker 1:He says verse 12, and the man said the woman thou gavest to be with me. He said she gave me of the tree and I did eat. So he already knew better. But then he decides I'm going to point the finger at her, it's her fault, it ain't my fault. Don't we do that in our society? I did it, but it's not my fault. They did it, they made me do it. This, this, that and the other happened. Well, adam decides well, I'm going to blame you, god, I'm going to blame you, dad. You're the one who gave her to me. She gave it to me and I hate it. Well, it ain't my fault. And the Lord God said, verse 13, unto the woman what is this that thou hast done? And the woman said serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Speaker 1:Now, they don't have no excuse, they just like well, he like well, how did you do this? Why did you do this? Come on, man, I told you not to do this. He said well, he tricked me, he, he, he, he messed with my head, he, he put it right in front of me and I, I couldn't, I couldn't get away, couldn't get away from me. I just wanted it and I hate it. Hallelujah, amen. I didn't know I could do theatrics y'all, but hey, come on somebody. Hallelujah, he like, she, like. That way, he tricked me, I, I don't got no excuse, I hate it. Yeah, sometimes we get to that point, most times we get there. But well, I, I really don't special kids. Well, I, I don't know, I hate it, I took it, I did this, I did that, you know, because I'm caught red-handed. Ain't nothing I can do to excuse what I did.
Speaker 1:But Adam, adam just said well, you gave it to me, she did it, she told me to eat it and I ate it. And what does Eve do? She blames somebody too. She blames the serpent. Well, he tricked me, so I ate it, even though he already told him not eat it. He already told him in the beginning do not eat of this tree. Do not eat of this tree. If you eat it you're gonna die. He wasn't specific in regard to like a spiritual death and a carnal death. He wasn't specific. But with the type of relationship that they had, they should have understood the dynamics of what the Lord had told them when he created them. You heard me, hallelujah, let's go a little further. Look at 14.
Speaker 1:And the Lord said or and the Lord God said unto the serpent Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle and above every beast of the field. Upon thy belly shalt thou go. Thus shalt thou eat all the days of my, all the days of thy life, amen. So he says to the serpent oh, buddy, you done messed up. Now You're cursed. Hey, you're the worst, you're the curse out of everything and anything that I have created. You are not really a curse for the animals so much, or anything else that he created, but the animals are alive and they're moving and creeping and doing this, that and the other, but they can't. They don't have a personal relationship with god, they can't talk to god. Okay, um, this I'm trying to trying to. I'm seeing it in my mind, waiting on the spirit. Uh, it lets us know.
Speaker 1:He said upon thy belly thou shalt go. He says so that lets us know that he's a snake in the grass, slick, crafty, he sits back, waits for the perfect time to attack. He literally gave him, he cursed his nature. Do you understand what I'm saying, jesus? That was a word right. He cursed his nature. Amen. The curse fell upon all that he does and all that he says and the reality that this curse, the way that he describes it in verse 14, the out of a snake, this curse, the way that he describes it in verse 14, the animal snake. I believe that this is why he says you're cursed above all of the other animals, because true enough, this description of what he's saying about the curse to this animal, it is the nature of Satan.
Speaker 1:What you got to understand is that the serpent or the snake don't always come in that form. The serpent, the snake, this is about his character and his nature. You got to be able to recognize the serpent when he creeps in your house. In his nature you got to be able to recognize the serpent when he creeps In your house. Hallelujah, come on, take a minute, Amen. When he creeps in your house Now, I don't necessarily mean your house literally, but this is a figuratively, a figurative thing Hallelujah, he will creep on you. You can represent your house, you, you can represent your house. Your house can represent your house. Your people that are connected to you can represent your house. Come on somebody, your money can represent your house. Satan will come and try to keep creeping in and take your house down. You heard me. He comes to what steal, kill and destroy. Hallelujah.
Speaker 1:He said, verse 15 I will enmity between thee and the one. Now he's talking to adam. He said between thy seed and her seed, it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel. He's talking about their children, amen. And I'm talking about Adam and Eve. He says to them he says I'm going to put a divide.
Speaker 1:You see, at one time and one before they fell, they was in unison. I mean, it was whatever adam said. I'm sure it was like done whatever they wanted, it was done. There was no issue, there was no problems. He said you know the seed, what you produce, will not work together, but push against each other. One will try to be above the other. This is why I say he said it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel. It's like it's constantly going to be a war fight within your house. That is not good. You don't want to be fighting in your house, hallelujah. You want to keep your peace. You heard me, hallelujah. Look at 16, he said, and unto the, he said. So he's talking to both of them.
Speaker 1:And then he turns directly to the woman. He says I will greatly multiply thy sorrow, he said, and thy conception? Okay, so because the woman was the leader of the fall, he says you know that sensitivity that we as women have, he said that thing is going to be lifted up a lot higher. So a lot of sensitivity that we have, we don't necessarily in the beginning it wasn't so. Do you hear me? We have a call and a heart to nurture, but it's hard when folk don't want to be nurtured, hallelujah, amen. When you have a desire to nurture, it ain hard when folk don't want to be nurtured, hallelujah, amen. When you own, when you have a desire to nurture and ain't nobody to nurture, hallelujah. You wind up with a broken heart and you wind up with things feeling some type of way. This is the root of why you got that fruit, why we all have that fruit. Look, it's women, he says.
Speaker 1:And thy conception? He says, in sorrow, thou shalt bring forth children. And he said and thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over you. So when we look at this, he says I will greatly multiply the sorrow, explain that. And thy conception. So you look, having children won't be as easy as it was. Okay, he says, and in sorrow, thou shalt bring forth children, you'll have children, but the children won't be. The having of children won't be what he desired it to be, because there is a separation. Oh my gosh. I mean, when you look at how God has, how he knit that relationship together in the beginning of Adam and Eve, and the fact they decided to separate from him because of disobedience, I mean that was a heavy price to pay. When you really, uh, dig into this thing, he says that that desire shall be to that husband and he shall rule over over these. So that lets us know that they were equal at one time. But now, um, her stature, or her, her, um, I would I don't want to say her voice is the my is is limited, but now adam has total responsibility over her. I mean, at the end of the day, this weight is heavy, but it's even heavier for Adam because he has to bear now the responsibility of the actions of his wife, he said.
Speaker 1:And unto Adam he said verse 17, y'all is because hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife. You listen to her before you listen to me. He said and has eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee say thou shalt not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for thy sake, in sorrow Shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life. Thorns also, and thistles shall it bring forth to thee. And thou shalt eat the herb of the field in the sweat of thy face. Thou shalt shalt thou eat bread till thou return unto the ground. And he says For out of it Was thou taken For dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. That lets us know those three verses. Let us know how precious the relationship Was to God. There was nothing that Adam or Eve could not do or have. Everything was theirs.
Speaker 1:And now, instead of that word being. You know, oh, today I want a bologna sandwich. Today I want a piece of steak. Today I want a steak and baked potato. Today I want some chicken wings. Today I want this, and today I want a piece of steak. Today I want steak and baked potato. Today I want some chicken wings. Today I want this, and today I want that, and just sit around and just wait for it to come and I don't have to do a whole lot of work, just make sure things are in order. Now you got to work for that thing. Now you got a whole bunch of trouble that's going to come your way now. You got to dig for truth. Now you got to move stuff out of your way. Now things won't be like a magnet to you, but you're going to have to go and get that thing. This is the level of I would say this is the level of I want to say almost.
Speaker 1:It kind of hurt his feelings, hurt God's feelings, that they were disobedient. And it's like the same as a parent, when a child is disobedient to their parent because I have children that hurts, yeah, especially when we've given them something that is precious to us. You know, kind of like a parent who leaves their child everything after they pass away, and then they just squander it. They just waste it. They had no care for it. They just threw it away, just threw it in the garbage, garbage or whatever have you. They had no care for it. You know, that's what that feeling is like, and this is the feeling that seems to be that the Lord has in regard to Adam and Eve Amen.
Speaker 1:So I think I'm going to stop right there. I'm looking at the time. I don't want way over where I used to go. I'm going to stop right there. Yeah, and we're going to pick up on next week with verse 20. So you make sure you mark your Bible, or make sure that you come back and listen as you're riding along for work or getting off from work or whenever you're listening to it. We're going to stop right there, put a marker at verse 20. And so let's go ahead.
Speaker 1:Let's go ahead and pray, father, we thank you so much again for this day and thank you so much for this word on tonight afternoon, for whenever they're listening to it. Thank you, god, um. We pray that you'll continue to have your way in and through us. I pray that we would would be mindful and be sober and vigilant, as you teach us in your word, that the serpent comes forth. He comes to steal, kill and destroy, that he's like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour. He is on alert. But again, as we did in the beginning of our prayer, we counsel the assignment of the enemy. The blood of Jesus will continue to reign over us all each and every day. Father, we are so very grateful and thankful for life in itself. We just bless your name as we bless your people. We pray this prayer. We ask it all In the precious name of Jesus Christ. We do pray Amen, amen and amen, hallelujah, all right, y'all.
