Speaker 1:

Hello, hello, and welcome back to Learning to Live in Truth. We are so glad to be before you one more time. I hope all is well. I hope today is a good day for you. Mine is starting off.

Speaker 1:

If I'm being honest, my day is starting off the way that I wanted to, but I'm not getting the way I wanted to. That's just me being transparent with you. Come on somebody. Hallelujah, you know as much as we like to put on the show like everything is okay, sometimes it's just not, you know. So I want to ask y'all pray for Catherine, just pray for me, amen. But anywho, I am doing what the Lord has called me to do. I will not allow things that happen in my personal life, things that happen in my life period, to stop what God wants to do in and through me, amen. So if you're ready, I'm ready, so let's go ahead and pray to get into it.

Speaker 1:

Father, we thank you so much for your grace and mercy. Thank you, god, for allowing us another day. Thank you for allowing every diamond that is here to be able to hear. I pray that, wherever they are, whatever they're doing, it is prosperous and it is something you desire for them to do. I pray God that, as you've drawn us all here into this place to be in your word, I pray God that it will be what you have it to be. I pray that you would use me to your glory. I pray that I might bring light to your people and help, or bring your light to your people and be a help and bring glory to the kingdom. I love you so much And'm so grateful and so thank you. I'm so thankful, lord. Also, I ask your forgiveness the things I've said, done and thought that are not pleasing in your sight that at the end of the day we would all be transparent to you. Father, we love you so much. We're so very grateful and so thankful again, but we turn this time over to you In Jesus Christ's name. We do pray, amen, amen, all right, y'all.

Speaker 1:

So we left off talking in Genesis, we got through verse 5. We finished verses 1 through 5. And this is a really, really good time. If this is your first time listening um, to learning to live in truth here at god's diamonds in the rough um, I would encourage you to go and listen to um the teaching on first john. But if you don't want to do that, go back to yesterday's at least, so so that you start off Genesis, the book of Genesis, fresh and we start it all together, amen.

Speaker 1:

So let's go on forth to verse 6. And he says so the first day. He says he created what Light? Okay, he said because there was, earth, was out, was without form, it was void and it was full of darkness, and so the spirit moved upon the waters, brought forth life. Amen. Then he said let that be light. And then he made the separation between light and darkness and called light day and dark night.

Speaker 1:

Okay, now verse 6. He says and god said let there be a firmament in the midst of the water. He says the firmament is like the sky. Yeah, um, I'm gonna read on just so I'm clear, because I studied this particular book quite a few times and I always, uh, tend to get a little, uh, a little bit of confusion that's just being A little bit of confusion with the firmament. So I was thinking it was the clouds, but I believe it's actually. The firmament is actually heaven, like the separation from heaven and like the clouds and the sky. Because he says and God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so, and God called the firmament heaven, and the evening and the morning were the second day.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so this firm see beyond the sky. Because really, if I'm going back, I'm trying to go back to my elementary years. You know your clouds, they're filled with water. Um, you know your clouds, they're filled with water. Um, the clouds also protect us things and from from, really protect us from the sun and when it gets too hot and all of that. Um, the clouds provide us rain and snow and hail, and all of them are different forms of rain, hail, and all of them are different forms of rain.

Speaker 1:

So when he says, he says that god said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. So he says so. Basically, he took heaven, which was his name himself, and pulled it up out of the water and brought it up above the water and separated the water from the water. I hope y'all got it. I know that sounded like a lot, but I can. Visually, I can picture it and if you just picture it for a moment, you can see it. He pulled himself up out of the water, that's the firmament, pulled it above the water. Okay, this is the clouds of rain and all of that. Then he made a separation in the water, right? If I'm reading it right, he says and God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament, and it was so. So he pulled it out of the middle. Yeah, and then, yeah, and God called the firmament heaven, and the evening and the morning were the second day, okay. So I hope that everybody got some clarity out of that. I know it sounded confusion, confused, and I hope I didn't make even more confused, but that's the best way I can explain it. Yeah, I'm drinking coffee, y'all, because it's right now it's like six o'clock in the morning, so I'm drinking me some coffee, yeah, and it's good too. I know that's right.

Speaker 1:

Look Verse 9. So we're moving on, just so we can get some substance here. Get in the word, because Genesis is quite a long chapter. Yeah, so he says and God said let the waters under heaven be gathered together onto one plate, let dry land appear. And it was so. God called the dry land earth, and the gathering together of the waters Called he seas. And God saw that it was good, okay, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

So when we kind of look at the globe, you can picture this. You see all the dry lands, but then you see All of the dry lands are surrounded by the sea and it goes around in a circle. Okay, so it's almost as if you can imagine pulling up corn starches like that. Like you pull it up, you have a whole lot of corn starch and water together. If you have enough corn starch and not enough water, you can literally pull it from the water. Only difference is that in this setting everything dry that came out of the water, it's set still, okay, cornstarch will eventually go back and slide back into the water, but it becomes this big clump and the water again it surrounds the land, or the water surrounds the cornstarch, and it's the same as what we hear here, that the water, which is the seed, is surrounding the land. Okay, hallelujah. He said, it was good.

Speaker 1:

He said, and God said let the earth bring forth grass and the herb yielding seed, he says, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself upon the earth. And it was so, okay, hallelujah. So you see it. He says once the land came in. He says the land would bring forth grass. Okay, so the land is supposed to yield something, it's supposed to do something. It has a purpose, purpose, purpose, purpose. Okay, so he didn't just create the dry land to create it. He could have, but he didn't. He says I'm creating the dry land, but I'm also giving the dry land purpose. He says that it'll bring forth grass, it'll bring forth herb that will produce more, more seed. Okay, hallelujah, he said.

Speaker 1:

And the fruit tree apples, pears, go on and on and on, he says, yielding fruit after its kind soined. So what is planted, something comes out of it. Come on, that's a word, hallelujah. Whatever is grown up produces something. This is why, when we bite into an apple, when we bite into a pear, there's always a core, there is a seed that will, if you plant it, it'll yield. Moreelujah, amen. Look, he says, whose seed is in itself. So the seed bears more. Okay, the seed will bear more. That was his intention. So in this particular context, we're talking about fruit. But you got to know that's in everything. Everything has a seed that grows out of a seed. Hallelujah, he says upon the earth. And it was so, the earth. And it was so, he says, and the earth brought forth grass and yield, an earth yielding seed after his kind and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself after his kind. And God saw it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. Amen, so that was the third day.

Speaker 1:

Looking at the time, see, if we want to go through the fourth day, yeah, yeah, let's go ahead and go ahead. Go ahead and go ahead. Yeah, because we got, yeah, because when we finish four, then On tomorrow we should be able to get through day five, day six and the creation of man. We should be able to Go ahead and go over four. Okay, so this is all of day three. All of your produce and your vegetables and things of that nature, all your fruits and your vegetables, was come up out of the ground, out of the land that God created. Okay, day four, he says.

Speaker 1:

And God said let there be lights in the firmament. Isn't it interesting how he goes from the land and then he goes back to heaven. He said let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night. He said so these are like the signs and the wonders, he says, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years. He says and let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth. And it was so. God made two great lights. The greater light is to well, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth. So we're talking about the sky.

Speaker 1:

So what do we know? That shows us that it's daytime. The sun, absolutely Amen. It has a light. But the sun rules. Okay, he says. And to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw it was good. In the evening and the morning Were the fourth day, amen. So he made the stars, he made the sun, so that they would be the greater light, they would have rule over the steel machine. Day from night. Okay, so when we see the sun out, we let us, they let us know that, okay, day is the daytime, like our day is beginning when we begin to see the dark, because right now, for me it is, it's kind of dark outside still, but here in about 20 minutes. It's going to be light because the sun is rising up. Sometimes we don't actually see the sun because of the clouds, but the sun brings forth the light. Amen, that is. That lets us know that it is daytime. And then, once the sun goes down and it gets dark, what's the other thing? The moon. Come on y'all. Hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I hope I'm getting ahead of myself, because he did mention the stars, that he made the stars too. And if there ain't no stars outside and you don't see no moon, it is quite dark outside, isn't it? But at the end of the day it is there, and the fact that there's no light is another thing that bears witness that it is night time. This is why he stopped. Established in day uh two that or day one rather, the light from darkness. We will be able to discern light from darkness. I feel like I'm talking in a riddle, but quite simple, it's quite simple. So I'm going to stop right there and, as I said before, tomorrow we're going to pick up on day five, day six and creation of man, I think. So y'all, make sure y'all come on back for that.

Speaker 1:

But otherwise I pray that you got something from um today's lesson. I hope that you got a little bit clarity, uh, in regard to creation. So, uh, let's go ahead and pray. Father, we thank you so much again for this day and thank you, god for this word. And thank you god much again for this day, and thank you, god for this word, and thank you, god for giving us some clarity on anything we didn't understand, and I pray that I did it right, yeah, the way you desire me to do it, and I pray that, in the name of Jesus, you'll continue to draw us to you, continue to give us not just the knowledge but the understanding, the revelation that only comes from you. Thank you so much, and we love you and we praise your holy and your righteous name.

Speaker 1:

We also quickly just pray for those that said pray for me. We pray God, for those that might be going through this, that and the other. I just pray, god, that you would touch them in such a way they would know that it's you. Father, I pray this prayer in your access. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we do pray. Amen, amen and amen. Hallelujah Again, come on back. I look forward to being able to be a light in your life. Amen, yeah, y'all, make sure y'all, um continue the journey with me, because it is absolutely a journey, as I'm trying to follow the spirit and do what he told me to do. So much, so much, but, um, so much love from me, so many blessings from me to you. Y'all have a great day, a great night. Amen and amen.
